Sharing and Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Information, may be stored and processed on computers in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the surviving or acquiring entity. We may also share Personal Information where required by law or subpoena, or where we reasonably believe such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with law or reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) enforce our Terms of Service or protect the security and integrity of our Services; or (c) exercise or protect our rights, property, or personal safety, or that of our users.

Other than for purposes of the Service, we will not rent or sell your Personal Information to third parties without your consent.

Data Security

We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We implement physical, electronic, and procedural protections that meet or exceed federal standards. Access to your information is limited to authorized employees who are trained in handling customer data and need access to perform their duties.

All of our operational and data systems are housed in secure environments designed to prevent unauthorized access. You are responsible for keeping your password and account details confidential and for managing access to any email communications you receive from us.

Data Retention

When a subscription is canceled, all associated user data will be deleted after 180 days, unless the subscription is reactivated within that period.

Pro users have the ability to authorize GetTheShip to send emails on their behalf through Google's Gmail API. We will prompt you to grant access with the scope of https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send.

If at any time you wish to revoke our access, you can do so directly at Google or from your account settings page.

Service Providers

We may engage third-party companies or individuals to help deliver and support our Services — such as operating the Service on our behalf or assisting with usage analysis. These providers are granted access to your Personal Information solely to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and not use it for any other purpose.

Payments

We use trusted third-party payment providers to process payments. We do not store or collect your payment card details — all payment information is submitted directly to our processors, whose handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. Our processors comply with PCI-DSS requirements maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council.

Our current payment processor: Stripestripe.com/us/privacy.
